Klesse College unveils gift from Dee Howard International Education Foundation

DECEMBER 13, 2021 – Last week, the Margie and Bill Klesse College of Engineering and Integrated Design (Klesse College) unveiled a gift from the Dee Howard International Education Foundation and The Dee Howard Foundation. A Dee Howard XR Learjet replica model is now proudly displayed in the lobby area of the Engineering Building’s first floor. Located directly outside of Dr. Christopher Combs’ lab, the Howard XR Learjet replica is both a tribute to the past of San Antonio’s aviation industry and an opportunity to inspire future leaders in the sector.

An unveiling ceremony was held on Tuesday, December 7, and saw remarks from Dee Howard International Education Foundation Chair Wayne Fagan, Klesse College Dean JoAnn Browning, Mechanical Engineering Interim Department Chair Ender Finol and Dee Howard Endowed Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering Christopher Combs.
